The West Virginia Homeowners Rescue Program has provided more than $19 million to assist homeowners with their mortgage payments, utility bills, property taxes, homeowners insurance, and other housing-related expenses.
Recently, the U.S. Treasury approved West Virginia's proposal to use some of the leftover Homeowner Rescue funds for emergency repair support. Qualified homeowners may be eligible for up to $10,000 in aid specifically for home repairs, in addition to other assistance with housing expenses.
