CHARLESTON, WV - Governor Patrick Morrisey issued a proclamation today ordering flags to be flown at full staff on Monday, January 20, 2025, to celebrate the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. The order applies to the West Virginia State Capitol and all government buildings.
“West Virginians are excited to celebrate this historic day and welcome the transformational leadership of President Donald J. Trump,” said Governor Patrick Morrisey. “On Monday, we will unite and honor the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States by raising our flags.”
Flags will be returned to half staff on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in remembrance of President Jimmy Carter.
