Gov. Jim Justice declared a State of Emergency on February 16, 2023, for all 55 counties in response to hazardous weather. The same State of Emergency has been in effect since then and will continue to last following severe weather in the state on Friday, March 3.
State agencies, external partners, and resources remain on standby to respond quickly if assistance is needed. The Governor urges everyone to continue to proceed cautiously over the weekend and keep up with local weather reports.
