CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice said today that President Donald J. Trump deserves praise after his administration put together a long-term peace plan between Afghanistan and the Taliban, and in the process clearing the way to bring U.S. troops back home.
“On behalf of all West Virginians, and especially the West Virginia families who have loved ones deployed, we thank President Trump and look forward to established peace in Afghanistan after many years of conflict,” Gov. Justice said. “This is historic and welcomed by us all.
“Efforts like this help keep America safe. President Trump must be saluted and commended for rebuilding our military and combating terrorism each and every day,” Gov. Justice added.
