Gov. Justice issues statement regarding comments from today’s briefing

CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice issues the following statement:

"Today, during my COVID-19 media briefing, Mark Curtis brought up a letter signed by three Senate Democrats which I dismissed as political. Since that time, my office has learned that Senate Minority Leader Roman Prezioso and 10 other Senate Democrats have expressed their strong views that they chose not to sign this letter.

"The letter was signed by only three West Virginia Democrat Senators: Mike Romano, Richard Lindsay, and John R. Unger II."
