Gov. Justice proclaims Small Business Development Center Day in West Virginia

3/21/2019

CHARLESTON, WV – In honor of an organization that, for years, has helped boost small businesses across the state to big success, Gov. Justice issued a proclamation Wednesday that officially designated March 20, 2019 as Small Business Development Center Day in West Virginia.

The Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Ann Urling, read the proclamation to a group of representatives with SBDC West Virginia inside the Governor’s Reception Room at the State Capitol Building.

The Governor’s proclamation noted that, with a vast majority of the state’s businesses being comprised of 20 employees or fewer, the SBDC has played a significant role in developing the economy of the entire state.
