Gov. Justice orders flags flown at half-staff on March 19, 2019 in commemoration of Bobby Nelson

​CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice today ordered all United States and West Virginia flags displayed at the Capitol complex in Charleston and all state facilities throughout Cabell County be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in commemoration of Robert R. “Bobby” Nelson.

Nelson served as a delegate in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1965 to 1970, and served as a senator in the West Virginia Senate from 1971 to 1985. From 1985 to 1993, Nelson served as mayor of Huntington.
