CHARLESTON, WV – Last night, Gov. Jim Justice attended the annual Antonin Scalia Memorial Dinner hosted by the Federalist Society in Washington, D.C.

The dinner was attended by approximately 2,000 individuals and featured distinguished guest speakers, including U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The Governor joined former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former Deputy U.S. Attorney General George Terwilliger for dinner at his table.

“As a non-lawyer, it is great to see attorneys in government as well as in private practice committed to the fair rule of law,” Gov. Justice said. “This was a great event for our nation.”
