CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice and First Cathy Justice today invite all West Virginians to honor the state’s military men and women and first responders by submitting photos to be showcased on the two recognition trees located in the Governor’s Reception Room during the upcoming the holiday season. “We are very thankful to our state’s service men and women and first responders”, said First Lady Justice. “We appreciate all of the bravery and dedication of those who help protect us every day.” “You can never say enough about those West Virginians, and their families, that sacrifice their lives in order to make our state and country a safer and better place to live,” Gov. Justice said. “These recognition trees are just another small way for us to acknowledge what they do and to say thank you again. These people are our real superstars.” Those wishing to have a photo of their loved one placed on the tree are asked to submit photos of those who serve in the military or as a first responder. The recognition trees will be displayed in the Governor’s Reception Room at the State Capitol Complex during the upcoming holiday season. All photos, along with the submission form and tag, must be received no later than Wednesday, November 28, and should be emailed to first.lady@wv.govor mailed to:
