Gov. Justice appoints Chanda Adkins to House of Delegates representing 31st District

CHARLESTON, WV – Today Gov. Jim Justice has appointed Chanda Adkins of Raleigh County to the House of Delegates representing the 31st District. Adkins fills the vacancy created last month when former Delegate Karen Lynne Arvon resigned and was appointed to the State Senate.
Adkins is substitute teacher and coach at Greater Beckley Christian School and a licensed pharmacist. She and her husband Brian reside in Beckley with their two children, Leah and Mason.
She is scheduled to be officially sworn in later today.
