Wood County Officials to Receive Check from Governor's Office for Reimbursement of Fire Expenses

CHARLESTON, WV - Officials from Wood County will be in the Governor's Reception Room on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at 2 p.m. to receive a $1.4 million check for reimbursement of expenses the county incurred in October during a massive warehouse fire in Parkersburg.
The money is being provided from the Governor's Contingency Fund while the state pursues reimbursement from the property owner and its insurance company.
WHO: Mike Hall, Chief of Staff for Governor Jim Justice, DMAPS Secretary Jeff Sandy, Wood County officials and other elected representatives.
