Gov. Justice Appoints Heather Wood to Family Court Judge Post in First Family Court Circuit

CHARLESTON, WV - Gov. Jim Justice announced today that he has appointed Heather Wood of Weirton as Family Court Judge for the First Family Court Circuit serving Ohio, Brooke and Hancock counties. Wood will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge William F. Sinclair.
Wood has served as a law clerk for First Judicial Circuit Court Judge Ronald E. Wilson since 2008. Her appointment to the Family Court position becomes effective Jan. 1, 2018.
