Gov. Justice appoints Richard Stephens as judge for Twenty-Fourth Family Court Circuit serving Berkeley and Jefferson counties

CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice has appointed Richard D. Stephens, of Martinsburg, WV, to the Twenty-Fourth Family Court Circuit, which serves Berkeley and Jefferson counties. Stephens is set to fill the seat that was vacated by the retirement of Judge David P. Greenberg.

Stephens has been a licensed attorney in West Virginia since 2002, most recently as a Berkeley County Magistrate. Stephens graduated from the Claude W. Petit College of Law at Ohio Northern University in 2001 and obtained an undergraduate degree from Alderson-Broaddus College in 1998. 

Stephens has four children and resides in Falling Waters with his wife.
