Governor Justice Appoints McLaughlin to Fill 23rd Circuit Judge Seat

Vacancy was created following the death of Judge John Yoder

CHARLESTON, WV – Governor Jim Justice has announced that he has appointed Debra McLaughlin to serve as the Circuit Court Judge for the 23rd Judicial Circuit, to fill the vacancy created by the death of the Honorable John Yoder.

McLaughlin currently resides in Berkeley Springs. She has practiced law in West Virginia since 1999. McLaughlin served as the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Morgan County from 1999-2002. Since 2002, she has been Morgan County’s Prosecuting Attorney.
